We have this great spread every year and my wife always has to open a can of cranberry sauce. No one touches it. I just throw it away after dinner. No need to fill up the fridge with it

I'd imagine most city people would turn thier nose at deer meat that was on the hoof two days ago. They don't deserve it anyway.

Yep. You HAVE to have it. No, it doesn't get eaten. It always gets thrown out. But you just gotta have it.

I would prefer mine to be aged about 2 weeks but I probably wouldn’t turn my nose up.

There was something on the radio about the least favorite items for thanksgiving dinner and ham, turkey and cranberry sauce were at the top of the list. Are people that picky or do the cooks do a poor job? Maybe people's preferences are changing but a well prepared turkey is excellent.

I would have loved this in the 70s during my Mary Jane years, would have gone good with my foot long chili dog with cheese…..good times…

Forget it and it's like.... Hmm... something's not quite right...
One year, my daughter made it from scratch (and just like the canned stuff, it too wasn't good

One of my SILs loves cranberry sauce. Eats it multiple times during the week every week. She contributed 2 cans for dinner today.

I love cranberry sauce as well. I make it, but honestly I think I’m the only one that enjoys it. Some put it on their plates out of courtesy, since I went thru the trouble of making the sauce.
Someone makes broccoli salad every year and never gets eaten.

I eat 5 or 6 cans a year.
Good stuff.

Not my family, but an old gf's. Her mom fixed what I thought was a sweet potatoe casserole, but it had border of sweet peas around it. I wondered why they messed it up with sweet peas, but there was plenty, so I got a huge helping of it. Found out it was rutabagas mashed up. Yuck!
Had to eat the whole thing! I always cleaned my plate because her mom sent everyone home with leftovers and their own pumpkin pie and a container of cool whip, After we quit dating I went to Ranger games with her dad, and still got invited for Thanksgiving.
