I was at SAMS and this is the tube they had...

$189

Neat design for pleasure vs. ultimate tubing.

I was beginning to look on Amazon, etc. and figured some of y'all would have some recommendations.

No hot dogs or banana boats...

You come to a male dominated board and ask what tube is best for pulling?

Costco always has one or two good boat pulled tubes in the early summer. Once they sell out they don't restock until next summer.

We have the super mable 3-seater, kids like to ride together and it gets air when going fast enough over wakes. We have to replace it every 3-4 yrs and we store it out of direct sunlight seems to help. A tube can get even more air b/c its lighter, but only one or two kids depending on size of tube. They love to go flying off it, scares the shite out of me.

I can't speak from a tuber's perspective as I am the boat capt'n. But we have one of those Wow Max's and it seems pretty comfortable for the nerdy kids, and you can sling the more adventurous ones off pretty easily. It's a fine tube.

Get one you lay down on, sitting upright on a tube will cause compression fractures of your spine. Damn they're uncomfortable unless your just gonna put around not going Mach 4,but that would defeat the purpose of buying the tube in the first place

If it's for False River....get the brightest color possible for maximum visibility.

The best one is the one that stays far away from all the fishing holes.

Airhead Big Mable and Super Mable dominate my lake. It's just like that WOW Max tube in your post. It's great for beginners/young children and can really whip around and sling for the older kids and adults.

We have the 3 seater Super Mable and have always had a great time with it.

Did anyone else have a Manta Ray Kite Tube? Incredible fun when you learn how to control it but dangerous all the time. I got to where I could control it reasonably well even though they have a mind of their own but I rarely ride it when and not come home without a couple of hematomas. They pulled them from the market...

We had one for years that the kids had a love/hate relationship with. El Diablo. It is still discussed with fear and reverence at family gatherings. Mostly by me. I got on it after a few too many gin and tonics. My wife was driving the boat and had also possibly had a few too many gin and tonics. 45 seconds later my left arm was a few too many inches longer than my right arm. Eleven years later, if I lift something in the wrong way, El Diablo (thru the sore labrum in my shoulder) still sends me little reminders of his power over me.

Damn you El Diablo, Damn you straight to hell!

If it’s for older kids, I get the medium sized (2-3 people rated). The bigger diameter flatter tubes are hard to sling outside the wake. They just ride behind the boat unless you have a LOT of weight on them.

The larger the better for young kids since not much action. The older the kid/adult, the smaller the tube the better so you get some good movement.

I have an 8 and 11 year old that I've been promising a tube for a couple of summers now.

Now that gas is through the roof, they coordinated forces and hit me with the family vote trick I pull on them all the time. I tried to phone their mother for a tie, but they reminded me it was a must be present to vote situation after the Great AirU debacle of 2021.

I have a 4 man one similar to that and it is awesome. I actually slept on it in my living room after Hurricane Ida. It is huge.

We use commercial truck inner-tubes from the tire repair store. Loop a rope around it and stay clear of the valve.
