I've a rotator cuff injury to my right shoulder. Will be looking at surgery within the next few weeks. Looking for a good quality shoulder ice wrap for treating the swelling now and for after surgery?
Any ideas on where I can purchase one?
Should have known better than trying to ask a serious question here. You baws been drunk since election night, and still aren't sober.

Yep. The OT has 100% become the Orthopedic Board.

If Coach would have put you in, we’d have won State.

won't have much of an effect on swelling but will help with analgesia.

Just had the surgery. I went to Walgreens and bought a few ice packs that had simple straps to them. They covered the back and front part of my shoulder.
They worked fine. Buy a handful so you can alternate them every 30-45 minutes. They won’t stay frozen for too long.
Good luck! Once that nerve block wears off, that first night is brutal. I had a serious injury that was worst than your avg tear. My pain was extremely intense that first night. After that it gets better.

Stick a crowbar in your wallet and buy an Ossur ice therapy machine. $200 but 10000 times better than ice packs. Really helps with the pain and helps you sleep. Freeze little plastic water bottle (with water in them) to use instead of ice. Maybe your health insurance will pay for it

I have had rotator surgery and I can promise you wont put anything on your shoulder after surgery. Your shoulder will be throbbing just from moving other parts of your body. You will need to focus on pain management not swelling.

Get the ice chest with the pump in it, comes with an attachment for shoulder.

Whomever does your surgery should give you a shoulder sling which includes ice packs.

Polar Ice Machine is the go to. We use them in the hospital and they work well. Can find a residential one for under $200

I'm on week 6.
The pain gets better after the first two days. Then week 6 comes and you think you got this and figure out how wrong you are. The pain in almost as bad as those first 2 days again. Nothing helps but ice and tens device but at least the pain isn't constant anymore.
