Don't be trashy. Nevermind, Louisiana. Carry on.

If the wedding is in Texas (not Dallas), you can get away with a suit, tie, cowboy boots, and jeans.

A suit seems pretty unnecessary

Okay, Boston is not trash exempt "baw". Weird word for the self proclaimed intellects. If wearing suit without tie I hope it's at home, end of night or post party cigar time. None are my thing but a suit, a suit, is meant to include tie.

There isn't a place in this world that's exempt from having trashy people in it, wherever you live is included.

The fact of the matter is wearing a suit with a button down shirt and no tie is not only not trashy, it's becoming commonplace in "fashion".

But you continue to wear that tie with your Jos. A Banks suit thinking you look good.

If only I could pull off a Canadian Tuxedo....

But really, saying no tie with a suit is trashy is either ignorance or you're over 60 years old.

If that’s true, many of your colleagues disagree with you.

Feel free to quote them here. Try GQ, or any rag that you choose.

“nc14 is an old frick that wouldn’t know fashion if it punched him in the dick, which is the only thing short of Viagra that works for him anymore.”

- Donatella Versace

First thing that pops up on google when I search “wearing a suit with no tie is trashy”.

True story.

Safe bet is a suit but if you can tell me what time the event is being held and where it's at, I could give you a better answer.

Neither of those links qualify as suits. Unless "leisure suit " is making a comeback. Welcome to 1972 my friends. It had its upside but fashion was not one of them relative to semi-final.

In what way is the first link not a suit?

First link guy, yes I would be ok with someone wearing that to my rehearsal dinner.

Second link guys, absolutely not.

I'll site the three most obvious ( there are six). Lapel is casual, cheap two button look (nickel buttons) and skinny pant. Leisure suit, not suit.

It was a joke, faux baw. Relax.

I’ve also never claimed “super intellect” but I appreciate your intuitiveness.

The fact of the matter is it is extremely popular to wear a suit with no tie. You can dislike the look, that’s personal opinion. But saying it’s “trashy” is just dumb.
