No you're right it's terrible and anyone that would say differently deserves to lose their hearing. What Paige said is true as well. People with a good taste in music listened to the Beatles, Zeppelin, the Stones, Eagles and many more actually talented musicians. I like rap as well and at least when Tupac, Jay Z, Biggie etc ruled they had great beats, lyrics, singers, and could dance to most if not all their music. Now it's just some idiot talking not rapping about random shite that makes no sense and certainly not a beat u want to dance to.

Rap came into being, and music stopped being created.

Go back and listen to some Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, etc. You'll figure out real quick that music has been dumbed down for the masses for a long arse time.

At LEAST 20 years and part of that was the radio programming.

In the late 90s you could jump to 5-6 different stations and they were playing about the same 4 songs. It would have been less irritating if they could have occasionally thrown some other stuff in.

shite like that is why I was fine when a tape of The Wall got stuck in my player for 6 months.

Daughter plays h.s. volleyball with a bunch of other little white girls. They crank that crap up pre-game. Utterly stifles all conversation and regular cheering. And the funny thing is... the girls know all the words. It’s their jam.

Not sure, but that didn't sound like country to me. But who knows anymore since that Old Road song.
