What makes a person trashy?

I've only been on this board for a couple of months but I've already noticed, there's a lot of posts and threads about "trashy" stuff or things that people do that make them "trashy". I used the search function for this forum to go back and find as much info that I could to help me compile a short list of things that people do or where someone lives that makes others consider them trashy.

- Smokers
- People who eat pop tarts.
- People who don't maintain their yards.
- Tattoos (ankle, neck, hand, etc) especially super trashy Westbank Tattoos.
- People who own Pitbulls
- shopping at IKEA
- Probably my post for this thread

Before I hand this discussion over to you fine people, I'd like to tell you a story about a situation that almost got me thrown out of a bar one night involving a "trashy" individual.

Many years ago before I met my wife when I was single, I use to be a regular bar hopper. Anyway.. A guy from my neighborhood named Leo, committed suicide because of a chick he'd been involved with (long story). A couple of months after his death, me and my best friend was hanging out in a local northshore bar listening to a live band when my friend happen to notice the chick (can't remember her name) that Leo was involved with walked into the bar. He pointed out to me, but I really didn't care as long as I didn't have to be around her.

Fast forwarding a lil bit.. My friend takes off to the bathroom to relieve himself of the Jim Beam and coke he's been drinking, but he takes off with my lighter. I asked the bartender (another acquaintance) for a light, he was fumbling around looking for a lighter behind the bar when Leo's ex-fling walks up to me and hands me her lighter (bic) which was in a small metal case. I lit my cig and handed back to her, thanked her and told her that she had a nice lighter. I was about turn around when she told me that the lighter was Leo's and all she did was wipe the blood off of it. I fricking lost it, started yelling at the bitch to gtfo of my face with that shite. I caused quite a scene, even had the owner of the bar wanting to throw me out, but the bartender who also knew Leo and overheard what she said, took up for me and calmed everything down. It didn't matter, I walked out, called it a night and went home.
