Checked numerous dealers in Louisiana, they all have a bare bones selection of light duty pickups to choose from. Ford, Dodge, Chevy...

Demand exceeds supply.

Honda has plenty to choose from. So does Nissan. Try one of them.

Figured it was frickin Covid

There's legit only about 20 pickups in the entire US that meet my search criteria on cargurus. That's some shite... wonder how inflexible dealers will be when inventory builds back up.

Yep. They all had to shut down factories for about 6-8 weeks.

Now let's figure out why the hell ammo is sold out everywhere?

The used truck market was insane a few months back. I had a buddy sell his 2017 f150 for more than he paid for it new recently. I guess thats how bad they are wanting trucks.

Now that we’re a one-party totalitarian socialist country I suggest you get use to shortages of all sorts of items. It’s only going to get worse.

During Covid the dealership by my house sent me an estimated price they'd give me for my 2017 F150 and it wasn't much less than I paid for it. I don't know how accurate it would have been.

Tempting but it's almost paid off at this point.

Probably covid. My sewing machine died and I had a hard time finding the one I wanted — every dealer told me it was due to covid.
