What is the biggest freebie you have been given because of a mistake?

Airline overbooked a flight I was on and asked a passenger to volunteer to stay overnight in Chicago and they would give you $1000 voucher, free hotel, and free dinner voucher. I sprinted to the ticket booth and snagged it and dined like a king that night on deep dish pizza.

Got a meal comped Saturday because the kitchen lost the ticket and we waited 2.5 hours before our food showed up.
It was a fancy Korean bbq joint. Tab would have been over $200.

ATM gave me an extra $100 in Vegas once, I lost it along with the rest of the money I took out that day.

Got comped our drinks one night at a sushi place because we waited 2 hours to seat. They were not aware of our ability to consume. 
We also watched one of the sushi chefs straight up stopped rolling sushi, took a deep breath, and walked out of the joint. Guess he was tired of the BS. Godspeed young man.

a new suitcase. i had my american traveller suitcase lose a wheel and the norweigans gave me a free new one which was like 4x the price

I was at the Rangers game last month when they got no-hit by the Padres. The waitress's iPad with our tab froze up as we were trying to pay so she said "I guess you're good?". Got to see a no-hitter live and eat and drink for free.

It was the first weekend for a new restaurant.
We didn't notice anything for the first 90 or so minutes, but the waiter kept coming by checking in us and apologizing. Not his fault the kitchen fricked up. The bill was comped so we just left him $100 on a gratuity tab.

Spring of 2018, I purchased a movie theater gift card for $25 because they had a promotion going on where you would get an extra $5 for every $25 you spent. Paid my $25, checked my balance on it the next day and they loaded it with $100. Covered all my concessions for the summer.

My very first job I ever had and everyone still got paper checks. I went and got it cashed and the teller gave me like $180 extra. My dumbass told my mom and she made me take it back "because the teller could lose her job".

Little over 3k cash. Was betting college football one saturday night, and for a span of about 20min the locals website mistakingly kept posting live lines with under 1min left in the games when you 99.99999% knew outcome. Was glorious

A set of knives was delivered to my apartment by mistake. The address on the label was correct but I didn’t recognize the name. It wasn’t for anyone on the street. So I kept them.
