What Is The Best TV To Put In Covered Areas Outside?

Is there a TV brand that is better than other brands when it comes to it being exposed to certain weather conditions?
It will be located in an area where 99% of the time it will not be exposed to rain (it would have to rain hard and really heavy winds in order to possibly hit it), but it will be exposed to summer temps, but not in direct sun as well as South Louisiana winters
Any suggestions or advice?

I bought a cheap element from Wal Mart with extended warranty and it’s been rocking for over two years now

Search whatever you can get the best deal on. Buy a cover off amazon for $25.
I bought a insignia Fire Tv 50” from Best Buy for $250. It works great

I put a Samsung outside. After 4 years, zero issues.

I didn't even think about this. Thanks.

Donn't fall into the "outdoor tv" bs... Get the cheapest..
I had an '06 37" Samsung LCD that stayed outside, under the patio, for 10 years till it finally died... Never covered it once...

Maybe not THE cheapest, but don’t spend a ton on an outdoor tv. I got an LG on sale at Best Buy and love it

My TCL outside has outlasted a Samsung, Sony and LG inside. My next indoor TV will be TCL.

Second the TCL. I’ve had one outside for 2 years this month. No issues. It’s under an overhang, but I still cover it when not in use.

If I had one of those, I would put it out there. I am not looking to use it to stream anything, or plan on hooking it up to cable, I am just going to get a HD antenna so I can catch the network channels so I can watch games that are on CBS, ABC and Fox.

I have this one but I use a taller stand so my neighborbors can watch the cable I spliced from them

whatever you get, never turn it off. leave it on with black screen and it'll never die. the humidity kills em, leaving them on burns off the water

I have never seen anyone with a tv in a covered area outside leave their tv on with black screen. Not saying you are wrong, but I am gong to have to look more into this.

LoL. If this was even remotely true it would be common knowledge. That is some serious old wives tale level BS right there.

I have a 65" TCL from Best Buy which has been on my patio for about a year suffering through the harsh Texas weather.
