I used to think those "100" stickers on the back of cars in Texas were a way of bragging that you got a ticket for going at least 100 mph.

I was listening to one of the "Metal" channels on Sirius XM last week, and this guy called up and gave a really passionate defense of Winger. His contention was that they'd suffered disproportionately from the backlash against "Hair Metal" in the early 1990s. He pointed to Beavis and Butthead as particularly nefarious, as the dorky character (Stewart?) wore a Winger T-shirt. This guy even talked about meeting Winger in person and referred to the members by their first names.
My thought was something like, "this is an extremely weird hill to die on."
