They have little peckers, so they're used to having to get closer.

They’re assholes, but it isn’t isolated to big trucks either. Dodge / Kia owners tailgate pretty regularly.

Seriously, someone riding my arse just doesn't happen to me. I don't ride peoples arse either. Should this ever occur, I'm doing one of the following:

(a) break-check him so hard he's in the ditch

or if you want to ride my arse, I;ll give you a reason to do so
(b) drop my speed to 10 mph under the limit.

Reading comprehension must also be in the right lane, because you missed that class

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit?

Do you think that he must drive into the ditch to avoid being tailgated by a jackass?

What truck nuts contributed:

That's me telling you to get the hell outta the way baw, or I'll be truck nuts deep in your arse.

Nuff said about the maturity of the tailgating crowd...

Slow down and when he tries to pass you speed up.

That will teach him a lesson.

This is why I have excellent UM coverage. You’re not gonna damage my property and hurt me without me getting paid. I can’t force them to buy proper liability coverage so I have to mitigate that and pay for it. Sucks but that’s the way it is.

Had a similar situation with one of those lifted trucks the other week. Driving on a 2-lane road and was stuck 4 cars behind a box truck going 10 mph under posted speed limit. Stupid truck comes running up on me, flashing lights, and riding my arse as if I was the one holding up the line. When I turned off the street, he then rides the horn as he passes the street

These are the people I don't understand. What do they expect people to do in this situation?

Years ago I had a Mazda pickup. Traveling west to Vicksburg. The day before I watched a short clip on what happens to a small truck when a big 18 wheeler hits it from behind...it disintergrates, It was a slight drizzle and heavy winds coming from the south. Big truck doing about 63 in the right lane. I begin to go around it in the left lane (I-20) and the wind was such I could not go over 63 with my foot on floor. Another 18 wheeler gets right behind me and I'm stuck there with one behind me and immediately to my right. The one behind me is so close I don't think a dime would fit between us. I sweat for about 5 minutes as I slowly slow down without being hit and move back to the right lane. I bought a new truck the next week.

I'd slow down to about 5 under the limit.

That's a signal for me to gradually slow down at least 15-20mph. They'll either lose their shite or pass me and then I can continue on my way.

What I don't understand are people doing this on the outside lane of multi-lane highways when there's no one else in the other lane(s) and there are no exits anywhere around. I've gradually slowed from 75 down to 40 in a 65mph zone before some have decided to finally go into the next lane and pass me.

If they pass, they're taking your spot behind the others. Then, you then speed up, get two inches from their bumper and lay on the horn.
