Man, maybe you have had some gross arse store bought old dry oatmeal raisin cookies, but a fresh, moist oatmeal raisin cookie made right is divine with a glass of ice cold milk.

There is a fairly large number of people who have a taste bud trait that makes cilantro taste like dish soap. One of my best friends swears it tastes like Dawn and he gets so frustrated that others can't taste the same thing.
It's a genetic trait

I've had so-called great oatmeal raisin cookies. It tastes like oatmeal and raisins, neither of which I want to taste when I'm craving a cookie.
