I'd like to start getting my news from more sources. Who is your preferred publisher for financial, foreign policy, politics, etc?

Tigerdroppings…one can come on here and know every aspect of a story before it even gets slightly talked about on “news” outlets

As others have said, the OT and Poli board are more up to date than any other source.

Of the “media” sites… I have found the Breitbart and Newsmax are fairly accurate. Everybody else just sucks

Don’t laugh. Al Jazeera, followed by BBC America and as far as investigative long form programming 60 Minutes Australia.

Podcast wise I do Breaking Points with Krystal and Sagaar. They mostly do politics but cut through the bullshite.

Local - OTL

Otherwise, SKY News Australia. Alan Jones is their best newscaster imho, but they are my go to.

Breaking Points - 3 shows per week.

Tangle - podcast/newsletter M-F. Talks about what’s going on out there along with the right’s and left’s take on it.

Not really. Every source, left, right or those who laughably claim no bias is slanted. We have to constantly ask ourselves, "How much of this is true?"

It's so limited now. Just about every news outlet has been exposed as motive driven, rather than just being good at reporting information.
Unfortunately, I can no longer watch a newscast without skepticism. Maybe that's on me, but that's where I am.
