The less people take account of their own actions in favor of some outside force controlling their actions, the less likely we are to find a solution.
The solution folks is in the mirror. People need to take responsibility for their own actions. Stop blaming institutional ‘isms’ .
Of course politicians want groups to believe that they can be controlled and continually tell that lie. It’s just too bad that people fall for that lie. I guess it’s just easier

That’s when the city will start to rot.
It's been rotten for a couple hundred years. Propped up by the federal government so the natives will stay on the vote plantation and not turn on their masters.

This YouTube video was the end for me ever wanting to visit again. This is Canal and Bourbon. I believe it is a Friday or Saturday at midnight to 1am. Street brawl. A burnout contest on canal. It looks like the beginning of RoboCop. No cops anywhere. This is not 4am in some desolate part of NOLA.
That was an eye-opener for sure.
When the lights went out during the Super Bowel I started looking for the egress.
ETA no you cannot make gumbo out of it.

“The Democrats have destroyed the black family”.had a conversation with a black preacher awhile back and those were his exact words. He was pretty pessimistic that things would ever change for the better, the way it was when he was a kid growing up.

I moved from Louisiana to Florida 16 years ago… I miss the people and the food. Literally everything else is better in Florida:
Job market
Quality of Life
Safety
Beaches
Governor
Less Hurricanes

Historical racism is the number one cause for crime in this country.
Yeah. It’s definitely not due to the person committing the crime.

77% of black kids are raised in a single parent household. Until that is fixed all of our large cities are going to have to deal with shitty people raised by shitty mother’s.
100% of the problems in the black community are because of this. More educational opportunities, midnight basketball, early pre k, justice reform etc don’t move the needle an inch.
