Things regularly left on the stove overnight.

Cold Alfredo sauce with tortillas (“it’s basically queso”)

During one super bowl she made a bet with someone that ended with the loser having to drink a full glass of heavy whipping cream. She won the bet but still drank the cream

Bird nest soup, don't worry, it's not actually a bird nest, it just looks a little like a nest. It's actually a special bird spit they scrape off cave walls and sell for $3000 a pound.
quote:

Edible bird's nests are bird nests created by edible-nest swiftlets, Indian swiftlets, and other swiftlets using solidified saliva, which are harvested for human consumption. They are particularly prized in Chinese culture due to their rarity, high nutritional value in nutrients such as protein, and rich flavor. Edible bird's nests are among the most expensive animal products consumed by humans,[1] with nests being sold at prices up to about $3,000 per pound ($6,600/kg), depending on grading.[2] The type or grading of a bird's nest depends on the type of bird as well as the shape and color of the bird's nest. It is usually white in color, but there also exists a red version that is sometimes called "blood" nest. According to traditional Chinese medicine, it promotes good health, especially for the skin.[3] The nests have been used in Chinese cuisine for over 400 years, most often as bird's nest soup.[4]

Ketchup isn’t weird, but the fact that she eats it on practically everything is.

My wife is Chinese but born and raised in Indonesia. I can't name half the weird shite she eats. I could probably "win" this thread if I could name them.

All I know is that sometimes when she cooks the spices get so bad I have to go upstairs because it burns my eyes and bothers my sinuses.

I like spicy food but some of what she makes I can't handle without eyes watering and my nose running.

When we go to 99 Ranch, or any Asian market, to buy groceries it's crazy to me half the stuff they have in the store. Last time I saw fresh cups or blood. I thought I was pretty used to everything there but that was a new one.

I'd either have to kill her, or just cook a hamburger for her while I had ribeye.
