I think accurate terminology should be encouraged. Seems like a good change to me.

I legitimately haven't noticed this at all, and I don't think the word "cyclone" is any more or less alarming than any other synonym.

I do get all my weather info from here, however, so maybe that plays a role.

I can't believe people still watch TV for anything non-fiction.

I can’t believe they name winter storms now.

It’s like they needed more action/viewers in the off season. Hurricanes were only scary during the summer.
