Wear your Boots while Weed Trimming

This morning while getting the lawn together, my 2 month old DeWalt 60V FlexVolt Weed Trimmer slung a rock into my ankle. Luckily, I wore the proper PPE.

Wow...I have both a weed eater and ankles...could have been me with the scraped shin. These types of incidents really make you stop and ponder the value of Life.

Does anyone make a weedeater not designed for trex arms? Any straight shaft i have to hold the engine up by my shoulder, 5"11 with a 6'2" wingspan
