For football the only real hazing was at summer conditioning camp, but it was pretty bad, shaved head, slapping on the head all the time, hocus pocus, slap offs, all kinds of shite. It was awesome.
The brothers (“soul patrol”) were even worse to their own skinheads, even beating and stuff.

There was ZERO Freshman hazing at my High School...
...because the school system was on a Junior High/Senior High model, so the High School was 10-12 and Freshmen were in the Junior High (7-9).
Sophomores, on the other hand, were dropped over a retaining wall at the top of a muddy bank that they would then roll down, winding up covered in mud. It was a rite of passage.

Yes, at Football Games they would write on Freshmen's faces the year the Seniors Graduate in Lipstick, or push a tiny football up a ramp with his nose.

We had a whole week of freshman hazing for high school but it was all dumb stuff like wear your clothes inside out day and stuff like that.
Now for football that was different. Everyday before practice the upperclassmen picked two freshman to gar pile. I thought I was going to die laying on the bottom of about 50 other people. Probably the closest to death I have ever come. The coaches even knew about this practice because they would always come to practice about 10 minutes later.
This was early 90s.

Not at my school. But FFA initiation was pretty rough although only for a week.
