Vaccinated vs Unvaccinated vs Natural Immunity
Posted by LSUBadger on 9/18/21 at 10:11 am3218
The govt and media have painted the current landscape as vaccinated vs unvaccinated. Kids are being expelled from LSU. People are going to start losing their jobs. Pretty serious stuff
Yet you hear almost nothing about people who have had Covid already and how their naturally gained immunity makes them incredibly unlikely to catch Covid again any time soon (thus not a threat to society in any way).
These folks are being lumped in with unvaccinated people by employers and the government. That doesn’t make a lick of sense. There are 42 million Americans who have test positive for Covid and many more who were a symptomatic. This constitutes a huge percentage of our population.
I wouldn’t want to be an employer who terminated an employee who had survived Covid and as a result made a logical decision that the vaccine was not for them. There are going to be a ton of judges who are not going to be impressed by the vaccinate or you are gone wave that is sweeping the country. You would be able to prove that you are less of a risk than those of us who are just vaccinated.

It's not about making sense. It's about control and selling vaccines.

If you're going to start a topic like this, post data and links.
Without either, it's just an opinion piece.

Untrue. There might not even be a single judge who fits your description, but if there is his judgement will be overturned on appeal.
Also, while I agree with your basic point - that the US should consider natural immunity as a substitute for vaccination - you are greatly exaggerating when you say,

Their naturally gained immunity makes them incredibly unlikely to catch Covid again
It’s probably at least as good as vaccine immunity, but neither fit your description.

Find a single study that says vaccinated immunity is an iota better or longer lasting than natural immunity.
There might be one and I’m not saying it’s untrue but everything we’ve seen says the opposite.

How many people that have tested positive have taken the vaccine?
I bet the number is a lot higher than you think.
Also, is there a test for natural immunity? I could have been asymptomatic, had covid and never known it.

They are science deniers
Having SARS-CoV-2 once confers much greater immunity than a vaccine—but vaccination remains vital

Doesn’t fit the narrative. It’s VAX VAX VAX ERREBODY!
Amazes me there isn’t more study or discussion about natural immunity. It would change the whole game if they’d just confirm that natural immunity covers millions of already infected.
There’s got to be a reason for this. It’s not an accident.

That’s the problem with everything in this country right now, and it’s being ramped up by people who benefit from it, but still we dance.
Unless you go to LSU who cares. Eventually everyone will either have the shot or end up in a ER room. I’m done promoted a vaccine because at this point you’re not going to convince anybody. Hopefully the change of weather will get more people outside. It’s college football season now so I really don’t care anymore.
