Bills coming in past the due date. Friends and relatives still haven’t received their Christmas envelopes.

Yeah, it’s Christmas season and we have a pandemic, this is not new. Lack of preparedness on he governments part.

It took 15 days to get something that was sitting in a Houston distribution center to B’ham, Al.
And, 11 days from Tamps to B’ham as well on another item.
And......a package I sent to A relative in Houston was delivered in about 6 days but it was open and empty. Did they just put the empty bag in there? Driver kept the contents? Mailbox thief?
Too weird that all of my UPS and Amazon packages arrived fairly quickly and none disappeared.

Yes, yes they do.

My package was loaded on a USPS truck for delivery in Los Angeles... some thug robbed the truck and stole my package... and now USPS says I have to wait 2+ months for reimbursement.

I’ve never had a problem with them before. But we’re having a belated Christmas gathering today, and I got a set of Encyclopedia Brown books for my cousin’s kid. Even though I bought on Prime, I expected delays during this time of the year. No big deal.

First, it was to be here the 28th—was informed it was delayed and would be here the 31st. Still no big deal. Supposed to here yesterday. Perfect, just in time. But both Amazon and USPS indicated it was left in my mailbox last night at 7:26 pm. Not a thing in there. I even broke the law and opened up my surrounding neighbor’s boxes—nothing. And of course, their customer service is closed today.

I wouldn’t have minded if it would have been delayed again—I can pick something else up on the way. But don’t tell me it’s been left in my mailbox at a very specific time when it clearly was not. I suppose there’s a small chance I was hit by the mailbox bandit in the 20 minute window between delivery and my checking, but that seems unlikely.

This BS with USPS has been going on over a year. It's not due to the pandemic.

I think one of the main issues is all the holidays the union got for these frickers. If they don’t use it, they lose it. So many took off at the end of the year.
