A percentage usage would be much more informative.

Of course DC and Rhode Island will be last. They have the lowest power needs.

Should build more nuclear. But the regulations are such that it costs so much to run.

Georgia will likely have zero electric production from coal in 2030 when it had around 15K MW just 15 years ago

This, it seems the nuclear energy production tech and design runs in the same vein as internal combustion engines.

Every state near the top either has a lot of nuclear capacity or some geographic advantage (Texas wind, WA hydropower) to drive it.

Also, there are some obvious population skewing because its just raw power generation.

Nuclear would take care of our energy needs. Time to push the enviros out of the way.

Gotta love Texas. They're trying. Need windmills all over DC. They need some skin in the game.

Does DC really generate their own power, or are they just getting it from Maryland and Virginia?
