I really shouldn’t even have to credit you with a response.

We have taken those pups in and I’ve worked around the clock to try to find them homes. The shelters in our area still haven’t gotten back to us, so everything has literally been on us. I’ve fed them, given them a place to stay, and have constantly emailed, updated, texted, followed up, etc to try to give these guys the best possible chance to stay alive.

Yea, it absolutely sucks that one has parvo and has to be put down. We’re crossing our fingers on the rest. If you feel so strongly, there are 2 still available. You want to adopt one?

The option to adopt one for yourself is still there.

Thanks HC. I’m hopeful, but am researching treatment guidelines for parvovirus just in case.

I’m reading a study now that shows similar survival rates between inpatient and at-home treatment.

I took mine to the vet today and she wouldn’t test her for Parvo until she started showing symptoms. I’ll keep y’all posted.

Chad Boi is from Mandeville, pretends to be from nola. He became THE BIGGEST SAINTS FAN EVER approximately 5 years ago. He can't do 6 pull-ups.

You’re doing good work man. It kills me that I can’t adopt one. My little pup would love a friend, just don’t have the space and time/money to care for another pup. The one I have is already a ton of work.

Damn, that’s rough. Props for at least making their last days a little better either way. Hoping the others somehow are lucky enough to have made it through without catching it.
