Well that’s just disgusting, if so.

The difference is that the Texans were purposely collapsing their building.

So what do you do by that point? Can’t risk men and you can’t let it just fall.

Go old school, bring in a large crane with a wrecking ball and knock it down.

I'll only stay in old hotels now. There's something going on in the entire school system of our nation. In the 1960's we put man on the moon with slide rules. Today it's a huge success just to get a rocket into space. I'm also questioning the integrity of any new design bridge. Today's schools really aren't for anything but social justice I guess.

My uncle is an electrical engineer who does a lot of design work for industrial facilities.

He often talks about "real-life application."

When he was starting out 40 years ago and he did a schematic, eventually he would go out to the client site during construction to give advice and see how it was going, and he learned a lot that way.

He says companies today won't pay for their younger engineers, who are doing the heavy lifting on design, to go to the client site. Way cheaper to keep them in the cubicle and working like a slave. The problem is, they never get to see for themselves how things are going, and never get to see "in real life" how it works.

It's just all a computer game to them. Most of them WANT to go out into the field, but hey, no one is willing to pay for that time.

Any half-ton pickup from a commercial could pull the rest of that building down by attaching a tow strap to the top.
