Unpopular opinion - Leaders Fried Chicken is better than Popeyes

I’ve been going there instead of Popeyes more often the past few months and I have to say, they’ve grown on me quite a bit. I say they’re better than Popeyes - fresher, juicier, and larger chicken and it tastes great. Their sauce is ok too. Sure, they don’t have Popeyes spicy chicken or even a chicken sammich but they’re damn good and the wait isn’t as bad.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

It’s local to St. Amant. Most don’t live in God’s country so I wouldn’t expect many to know it. Nice little local secret.

You are absolutely correct. Leaders puts them to shame. However, the staff all seem to have been beaten down by life. You’ll find more joy at a funeral service.

Gotta rep' that Gonzales location, too. I've never been to either, but being from D'ville, I've gotta imagine the service is worlds better than Popeyes.
