That's just the flags of the ship. The ship owners get ships flagged there because it's easier and cheaper

Exactly my point. Dont wave the flag and pay someone else, then come cry when your ship gets torpedoed.

Thats why it costs more to register the ships here, you get other benefits.

So you're saying that they deserve to be nuked because they're powerless against a top 15 military power and brutal regime yet chose not to revolt? Odd.

Not once have I said called for nuclear weapons.

I have called for air and missile strikes that destroy their capacity to wage clandestine wars that destabilize a volatile region.

Hopefully that would also weaken the regime's hold on power allowing for change.

Pretty ironic you accuse me of claiming some victory while not actually saying anything.

The thing is, we could give those dumb goat frickers over there everything they’ve ever wanted and they’d still hate us and be classic Muslim goat humping assholes. So a Marshall plan wouldn’t work over there. Islam and the west will never be able to coexist.

Well, turning the region to glass with bombs would kill millions of children.

I get that it is easy to call for that from 8,000 miles away, I really do. I'm tired of this shite too.

I don't have the answer. I just know I wouldn't do 2 things:

1. Starve the country, topple the regime, and leave a power vacuum.
2. Kill millions of children.

For the pro-lifers in here, what about the babies, both born and unborn that would be killed by civilian bombing? How do you justify that?
last time us and the brits placed a regime in power in Iran, it didn't work out so well for us...

I don't have a problem with that

I don’t want children to die, or anyone oppressed by the current regime who is just doing what they have to to stay alive

BUT

This country has been a problem for long enough. It’s a sad fact of war that innocents die. Nobody is going to “turn their country to glass”. It will be done with the least possible collateral damage

Using people’s stance on abortion as a means to justify inaction is lulz

But it is hilarious to hear these hardcore political talk right winger Trumpkins talk about nuking the whole region and then calling people who get abortions murderers. Always fascinated me.

I’m not in favor of “nuking the whole region” but I am Pro-Life and do understand there are situations that are applicable to the Just War theory. I don’t think retaliation against Iran for this, at this moment, applies though.

Crazy move on Iran if it was their actions especially if they picked up the sailors.

Wonder if they were just doing some targeting training and somebody accidently hit the launch button.

I addressed the point, you pulled your typical goalpost moving because you like to argue like a teenage girl, you got upset when I called you on it, Bob's your uncle, here we are.

You can keep crying about it, though. We're all used to it at this point.

With something that wasn't correct.

That didn't happen though. I didn't move anything.

100% agree.

I wasn't justifying anything. I shouldn't have brought it up. It's just you always hear people saying "Let's just nuke the middle east!"

They aren't all culpable adults over there, my only point. Nuking them isn't the right decision.

Strategic bombing, but limited collateral damage, is definitely justified. But only if we have a great strategy to fill the power vacuum and to prevent even more hatred of the West from brewing.
