I mean, yea. But if we went to that level, I'd say there would be more reasons than just this one incident, wouldn't you?

Well, we're talking about some poster's response to this incident specifically. Keep up, bruh

I find it more fascinating that you're fascinated by people having different opinions

That's fascinating.

Better question, re conservatives allowed to think Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ok? Or does that fascinate you too?

Everyone is allowed to think anything and yes that fascinates me.

It's a great debate to have. Great debates are fascinating. Somewhere along the line in this country, people became incapable of having debates about things.

But I shouldn't have brought it into this thread. Let's talk about the right way to fix Iran issue.

Power vacuums and nuclear war aren't it.

ETA:

And I never said the word "innocents". You're combining my posts with someone else's.

My question still stands, but I guess I'd deflect too since we both know it;s way more complicated than that.

For the pro-lifers in here, what about the babies, both born and unborn that would be killed by civilian bombing? How do you justify that?

What are your opinions of strategic bombing? Napalming Tokyo? Razing Dresden, Hamburg, Yokohama, etc to the ground? Nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

How innocent were the sailors aboard those ships?

How innocent are those civilians in Iran that installed/support/allow/tolerate the actions of their governement?

So you're saying that they deserve to be nuked because they're powerless against a top 15 military power and brutal regime yet chose not to revolt? Odd.

Typical OT. Someone says something dumb to derail the thread. Many comment besides me, and I';m the one ruining it.

They're different depending on each.

War time is different, especially when the opponent has themselves attacked civilian population centers like Germany had.

I would not have nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki the way we did, in hindsight. Hindsight is bullshite in things like this though, I get that. At the time, I probably would've made the same call.
