Just a sustained air/missile attack that will wreck their economy and capacity to assert themselves beyond their borders.
Great...so when they're incapacitated, who takes over?
Destroying an economy, leaving tens of millions of people hungry and filled with hatred for Americans/the West, and then letting them rebuild their nation on the foundation of that hatred is the worst parts of history repeating itself.
Think Nazi Germany and ISIS.

I'd love Iran's regime to fall. But it has to be done correctly by using the lessons of history.
I'm not sure how to do that because I'm not an expert in nation building, I'm just saying how not to do that.

I mean, I know that it’s not realistic, but what the frick would anybody do if we did that? We should tell Russia and any other foreign entity that’s not Muslim to gtfo and I would say bomb those assholes back into the Stone Age but since they’re still living in the Stone Age, turn the region to glass.
Why would anybody shed a tear for those people?
Nobody would do shite. They all push their chest out but wouldn't do shite if we dropped the hammer. Especially Russia.

Are the Marshal Islands and Panama going to respond?
Why do we have to jump in first?
Why do we have to jump in first?

The thing is, we could give those dumb goat frickers over there everything they’ve ever wanted and they’d still hate us and be classic Muslim goat humping assholes. So a Marshall plan wouldn’t work over there. Islam and the west will never be able to coexist.

Even if it was electronic warfare from China, how the frick do we not have somebody on the bridge saying “hey there’s a big fricking ship right there”
The collisions at sea were completely USN crew negligence. I highly doubt an electronic attack caused those incidents.
Reading how poorly the 7th fleet has been run makes it plausible the crew and CO's were at fault.
Some articles point out there were watchstanders at radar equipment who had no idea how to run, analyze, and report contacts on the damn thing.

That's just the flags of the ship. The ship owners get ships flagged there because it's easier and cheaper

Well, turning the region to glass with bombs would kill millions of children.
I get that it is easy to call for that from 8,000 miles away, I really do. I'm tired of this shite too.
I don't have the answer. I just know I wouldn't do 2 things:
1. Starve the country, topple the regime, and leave a power vacuum.
2. Kill millions of children.
For the pro-lifers in here, what about the babies, both born and unborn that would be killed by civilian bombing? How do you justify that?

You're right but
Come on. Lol let's leave this topic for somewhere else

Haha I know I shouldn't have.
But it is hilarious to hear these hardcore political talk right winger Trumpkins talk about nuking the whole region and then calling people who get abortions murderers. Always fascinated me.

So no one on the right can be for capital punishment or any form of war?
Posted on 6/13/19 at 9:21 am to TheCaterpillar
That's a fair point. Can't really be for outlawing abortions then also be for nuking innocent people

Wait what...I think you're confused.
I didn't say anything about killing adults.

Sure, but killing innocent civilians as a response for Iran attacking a few oil tankers isn't exactly an equal response

Well, "innocents" have been killed with both I listed.
I find it more fascinating that you're fascinated by people having different opinions on different issues. Abortion and war aren't really as related as you think.
Better question, re conservatives allowed to think Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ok? Or does that fascinate you too?

And Caterpillar has ruined the thread.

I mean, yea. But if we went to that level, I'd say there would be more reasons than just this one incident, wouldn't you?
Posted on 6/13/19 at 9:25 am to MrLSU
This aloha snackbar shite is getting real.

How innocent were the sailors aboard those ships?
How innocent are those civilians in Iran that installed/support/allow/tolerate the actions of their governement?
