re: Tundra or F-150

I currently have a 2016 F-150 and my dad has the 2015 Tundra.
It really comes down to preference and what feels better imo. Me and my friends have never had issues with our Fords and everyone knows Toyotas could survive the nuclear holocaust.

The numbers I cited irrefutably support the claim that you asked for backup on.
You posted about nothing but resale value. I will again ask for something concrete saying that Tundra durability is substantial better than the F150's.

I bought a tundra in 2010 for my wife. Then bought an F150 for myself in 2013. Already sold the F150, still have the Tundra and now its my work truck. Its a better overall truck to keep for the long haul. I did like some of the F150 features more, but the Tundra is more durable and much less maintenance required.

You just have trouble sticking with one point man. Quit getting butt hurt about it. I don't care, I own neither of these vehicles, and am not buying one soon.
The dude said if your number one priority is resale value, the tundra can't be beat. You asked for evidence, which I gave you.

I asked about two things, you (and everyone else) only answered one.

You're the one with the condescending attitude for absolutely no reason.

There was more than that, but you're clearly the type that doesn't bother to actually read before going off on a rant. Would you like to make some personal insults about my family now? That's your typical response after all.

Oh look Mr know it all is here

Show me my rant. You asked for facts, I posted them. I'm not trying to argue, I don't have to.
Why don't you post something that says the F150 is a more dependable truck than the tundra? I would argue (and so does NADA, check out the link) that retention value is driven by dependability. It is unquestionably an indicator of quality and this value. So if you don't think this is true, try and convince us otherwise.

My viewpoint
GM - looks
Ford - most fun to drive
Toyota - durability/resale
This is pretty accurate IMO.
GM probably looks the best.
Ford probably has the best tech, creature comforts and interior.
Toyota probably is the most reliable.
I've had too many problems to list with every GM I've ever owned, which is why they weren't part of my buying consideration. Still good looking trucks.

And I didn't insult your family, I just said it would be tough on them because their dad is an argumentative retard. I appologized about calling you a retard. Was uncalled for

That's not all you said, but it's cool.

You constantly talk down to me, when you've yet to answer the original question I had. You just like to take digs at me, even when there's absolutely no reason to.

So your response is to just flip it? Tells me all I need to know.

That's far from a fact, and ignores many other factors.

No, you're the one that made claims. You're the one that has to back them up.

I honestly tried to not take a dig at you and just post a fact. You seem to just have a hard time admitting you could at least be partially wrong. And you say that I take the Internet too seriously.

Such as?
Seriously, I'm not trying to flip it, but it is widely accepted that Toyota makes a more dependable car than Ford. If you could back up that is incorrect, you would have by now.
What would you even accept as evidence? I'd be glad to look it up and post it if I had any confidence you would just accept it, and say you learned something.

No you don't. Every post you make to screams condescension. Couple that with your name calling BS that you were too scared to not edit, and you have a pattern.

Wrong about what? Way back on page 3 I said both trucks are get and OP could flip a coin to make his decision.
I started disputing claims that Fords only last 5-6 years, because that's bullshite.
quote:You do. Talking about a guy's family because of something on the internet is just sad. Just own it. Or edit, I don't care.
And you say that I take the Internet too seriously.

The sheer number of F150s compared to Tundras for starters. Tundra guys brought that up to you earlier in the thread, and you ignored it then.

Why don't you try posting something instead of constantly talking down to me? Do I have to say "please?" Because, I'm not.
Posted on 1/20/17 at 4:26 pm to LNCHBOX
Please don't tell anyone that they are "melting" in a post again, because I don't know how else to describe what I just read.
Dude, the first post I replied with was only quotes from NADA, the foremost authority on used vehicles.
I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I'll agree to not respond to your posts if you do the same for me.

You ever going to say anything on topic?
Posted on 1/20/17 at 4:32 pm to HarrisLetsRide
Fords look the best inside and out......MUCH better than any Tundra or truck I see on the road. That being said, check my Ecoboost thread. I'm fricking pissed
Posted on 1/20/17 at 4:36 pm to OceanMan
Anyone that is getting heated by what lnchbox says, dont waste your time trying to reason with that Toyota hater. He just hates living in his parents attic lookibg at F150 posters all day

You need to get your head checked. You literally just wrote a sob story to me about being too mean to you when all I said was the exact same thing you did; stay on topic.
I'll keep my end of the bargain, please stop replying to me.
