A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST FOR SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTHWESTERN HARRIS COUNTIES...
At 1144 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Hooks Airport, or near Tomball, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
This dangerous storm will be near... Spring around 1155 AM CST.

Tomorrow is going to be a pretty nasty day in Lower Alabama and the panhandle too.

Mena, AR has become a winter wonderland within the last hour. Looks like it’s the only place in Arkansas so far that has problems with the roads.

it's an acurite 5 in 1 that I was given for christmas, it's mounted on an antenna mast on a fence in my back yard, no possible way i can get it up 30 feet high

Damn if I'm looking at the right one that thing is only around $100. I paid like $250+ for my ambient weather unit and that monitoring is way better than mine. App monitoring for mine is basically unusable

sitting around 1006mb (29.707inHG) right now and falling at a good pace, and we still have a lot more time before the front gets to me, I usually don't see pressures this low unless there is a tropical system

It was embedded in the larger circulation. That larger circulation could put down a pretty significant tornado if it winds a little tighter

Finally dropped one. Probably brief but heading right for Pearland.
