Triple vaxxed and still got COVID

two days after my return from Europe. Case of bad flu.body aches and chills.
I also got COVID a while back before the vaccine was available and I was asymptomatic.
Vaccine didn't make any difference or just nastier strain this time?

Vaccine doesn't prevent. It reduces symptoms if contracted.

Let's begin with not calling it a vaccine. A vaccine actually does its job and eliminates the threat. What you got was a flue shot and they appear to only lower symptoms in some people. Or maybe, just maybe, you didn't get enough booster shots. Next time try for 10 to be safe.

I have no issue with people who were forced to get vaccinated or lose their job. That is a tough call for many people.

A friend has had the initial shots, a booster and has had it twice since. The second time it took her 2 weeks to shake it off. Yuck!
