Just got an Emergency Alert on the Northshore for a Tornado warning.

Im getting real sick of getting woken up at 230am for severe weather alerts. This keeps happening, way more that I ever recall.

oh really? forgive me, but where is 70447? im in 70448 and haven't gotten another , yet. Fingers crossed. The fact that it wakes me up in the early hours makes me more anxious than if I had just gotten the alert at like 11am or something, you know?

its wild. Someone was posting on the OT this afternoon about what you just said. These aren't the near daily afternoon storms that I am used to getting here in South La. Like I've said, I don't recall the weather being like this ever before.

It was very close to me...got the kids out of bed in case we had to dive into the closet. Probably passed less than two miles west of me, but didn’t hear or see anything.
