Not when the entire town goes down from frozen main pipes for almost 2 weeks. Been there, done that.
You seem to really hate that I don’t want exactly what you want out of Mother Nature. You aren’t going to convince me that hours outside in the freezing cold dealing with crazy horses is fun. But that’s just my opinion. Just like I’m not going to convince you how amazing being outside Saturday in 80 degree weather was. Maybe you should hang out more on the poli board?

I’m more worried that this is gonna shut down the interstate and lead to me not seeing my grandsons for Christmas.

I’m not very good at soccer. Or being gay. Women are too hard to deal with.

Did this happen in south Louisiana?

Nope. Thus, the move from the great white north (ish)
Not sure why you’re still obsessing over me not being like you
Are you an 08 alter?

Guys… let’s move on to more productive things.
In wintry weather conditions it’s important that you understand proper breastmilk procedure. Winter is a much more forgiving environment when it comes to breastmilk. In the event of a power outage frozen breastmilk can be used like an ice bag to keep other perishables cool.
On the other hand, if power is out and breastmilk is at risk of spoilage you can simply throw it out on the deck to keep it cool or even freeze it again.
Sometimes, when there is snow on the deck and the power is out, I use it as an opportunity to clean out the fridge. I take everything out of the fridge and line each item up in the snow. When you stand over a two dimensional inventory of your fridge it is really helpful. Nothing can hide in the back. With snow you can just use the deck as your fridge for the next few days. Then you can add everything back to the fridge in an orderly manner when the power is back on.
Good luck this winter!

That run actually is all snow for north LA. A foot of snow along I-20
Posted on 12/12/22 at 10:57 am to trussthetruzz
well that's interesting... in that run I'm too far north for the ice BS... but too far south for snow

Posted on 12/12/22 at 10:58 am to trussthetruzz
Imagine if this run actually verifies? Rivaling our all time record low in BR of 2°F in 1899

Switching to Tuesday 12z HRRR had a nasty run of messy supercells Tuesday evening. Probably an after dark tornado event for north and central Louisiana.

2 week out gfs blizzard runs should get banhammer just like 2 week out 920 mb monster cane into Lake Charles gfs runs

The best days to kill in south la are warmer than normal with a 20 mph south wind right before a strong front
