The drop off in quality has been staggering, truly amazing
All too common with explosive growth. My son works for a company (Scheels) a great sporting goods retailer that is defying the odds and actually growing in the brick and mortar side of retail. They do it via very controlled growth - usually one, very rarely 2 stores a year. They make sure culture is transmitted store to store, by transferring about 1/3 of employees into each new store - management, pt, ft the works. They could grow faster but at the cost of that culture.

Overpriced tacos but idiots will still pay.
Most of the tacos are like $4.00 for lunch or dinner.
My lord you people are special.

They used to be good. But are shot now. Especially for $5/taco.

I'd rather make the drive to El Mariachi over on Singleton if I'm going to get a non Tex Mex taco.
Mariachi has gone downhill too. They opened a second location on lower Greenville which wasn't as good as the Singleton location but the Singleton location suffered since the owner was at the Greenville spot most the time. Taqueros just moved from Singleton to lower Greenville and I need to see if they are still as good as when they were on Singleton.

Their tacos are overrated. Their queso is legit imo

Too expensive and low quality. Last few times I went I was surprised at how little food you got for the money, might as well be Chili’s

The tacos are pretty big so $12 for a meal isn’t that crazy

Meh. El Rey or the Shell station on Memorial are better.
El Rey is shite. I’m sorry, it just is. I don’t get this place whatsoever.

There are better food trucks....
There are taco trucks and Chinese 'foot' massage parlors in every f'n strip mall in Houston. Damn near every one.
I'm yet to try either.
People sure have tired feet and a yearning for tacos around here.

People not understanding the difference between places like Torchy’s/Velvet Taco/Tacodeli and their nearest taqueria always astounds me
