For over a decade anybody who connects the dots on all these iner-related issues has been met with these responses:

"You sound mad"
"Why do you care"
"Get off my grass old man"
"Why do you hate____people"

My grandfather fled the Nazis. My wife fled the Communists in Vietnam. One of my dear friends fled the Stalinists in Czechoslovakia. Another friend fled the Khmer Rouge. I recognize the language and the psychology and the passion of The Leftist Mob. The location changes, but The Marxist Assumptions are the same. That "this segment" of society has wronged "this segment" of society, and that we must ignore The Rule of Law and all existing American traditions, principles, ideals, Institutions, etc to correct "this injustice".

And while it feels like kids play now, at some point these assumptions become so psychologically ingrained in the collective culture, that mass violence against the status quo ensues. And Americans, having a deep belief that they alone are insulated by the tragic excesses of history, believe it "could never happen here bro-get off my lawn-why do you care so much-you seem mad". And then very SUDDENLY the Mob is laying siege to the Culture and The Rule Of Law and The Truth of a thing are rendered irrelevant and we have lost that which makes us virtuous and worthy of calling ourselves a great People.

FORWARD !

I don't know. That's why I put it in quotations and said 'may be' real.

They're the ones claiming injustice. I just don't know how justice was supposed to be served.

They lied? They want more? They realized they can grab more ground since their tactics were so efficient? They know that white people don't protest? The SJW admin is encouraging this behavior?

You have the answer....

I know the answers here. These people moved the goalpost. They've found something that gives them a ton of attention and makes them feel more important than they are.

That, and they are fricking insane

They need to define the injustice because they are claiming that they built Mizzou.

Hell, if they would clearly define the injustice I may support them.

I'm not going to support all this for isolated incidents of idiots yelling the N word. Hurt feelings are tough shite.

not only is he gone

Mizzou has met every single one of the other demands

- installment of a diversity office - done LINK

- multicultural office - already done LINK

- diversity training for freshmen - done a month before the hunger strike began LINK

- a sit down with the president - done

- president resigns - done

Why are they still protesting?

Their end goal is for white males to be beneath them....sort of like black people were in the 3/4 of the 20th century. In their minds, that's what would end racism and injustice

Exactly. Boo hoo, someone called you the n word.

What I would get behind in fact would be a neighborhood protest for these fricks that killed the 9yr old boy execution style in Chicago. That is some social justice for your arse. They need to be protesting the people in that neighborhood that don't want to talk to police, or go out and issue some vigilante justice on the guy who did that. I can get behind something like that.

Instead we have to deal with Mizzou

What a great article! Thanks for sharing. From the article:

quote:

If our universities are teaching students that their emotions can be used effectively as weapons—or at least as evidence in administrative proceedings—then they are teaching students to nurture a kind of hypersensitivity that will lead them into countless drawn-out conflicts in college and beyond. Schools may be training students in thinking styles that will damage their careers and friendships, along with their mental health.

quote:

Jeannie Suk’s New Yorker essay described the difficulties of teaching rape law in the age of trigger warnings. Some students, she wrote, have pressured their professors to avoid teaching the subject in order to protect themselves and their classmates from potential distress. Suk compares this to trying to teach “a medical student who is training to be a surgeon but who fears that he’ll become distressed if he sees or handles blood.”

quote:

Surely people make subtle or thinly veiled racist or sexist remarks on college campuses, and it is right for students to raise questions and initiate discussions about such cases. But the increased focus on microaggressions coupled with the endorsement of emotional reasoning is a formula for a constant state of outrage, even toward well-meaning speakers trying to engage in genuine discussion.

Even if the administration had implemented mandatory sensitivity training during freshman year orientation, it wouldn't have necessarily stopped these incidents from occurring. Racism is part of a greater issue, and the President of Mizzou was nothing more than a scapegoat.

exactly. and its easy to point out. if real fault would have been at the feet of the president of mizzou, once he resigned everyone would have been happy. the fact that once he resigned, all of the SJW's had the move on to the next one attitude tells me they didnt have a problem with him, more that they were out for blood, once they got a little they wanted more.
