Terd lives way out in the country so he should have a whole house genny. I live in the middle of freaking town and the businesses don't even have power back

I’m sure they will keep working. I’m not going to complain about it - I have no idea what their job entails and I wouldn’t want to be outside in this heat. My sister has power so we are there. We were out of power for 8 days after Gustav. Gas was easier to get after that, though.
And my husband’s family in south Terrebonne parish has a lot more crap to deal with than just lost power.
