What in the frick is going at the Baton Rouge facility? Status update says it gets to Baton Rouge facility and then it just sits. I get that they're busier than usual during Christmas but come on...

It's not Amazon's fault. It's the USPS. The packages that come via UPS come in two days.

It has nothing to do with Baton Rouge and everything to do with the fact that those in charge of the USPS thought it was a great idea to implement two weeks "Pandemic Leave" that required no positive test or proof of illness that expired on 12/31/2020.

The busiest shipping month of the year is a GREAT time to institute that policy!

Next time I buy something on Amazon, I'm gonna tell the seller to either ship UPS or go out back and throw the item away and then issue me a refund. Because that's basically what's going to happen anyway.

USPS doesn’t deliver Amazon packages in my neighborhood. Amazon does an amazing job delivering their own packages themselves. Always on time

Please, the post office is a reflection of the community it serves. I don’t have these problems.

It was instituted early in the year, I'm sure. The "use it or lose it" coupled with no required proof gave employees the opportunity to sit on that leave until the end of the year.

I didn't believe it when a friend told me that, but I looked it up and it sure as shite is the case.

I'm no BR apologist but there are a lot of shittier parts if you've traveled the country much.

I get some delivered from Amazon. Some come UPS. And unfortunately, some come USPS. UPS and Amazon, awesome. It comes quick (2 days). No issues. USPS, usually takes about a week or longer. And lately, I'm lucky if I even get it.

Well, I've been waiting on a package that was shipped December 15. It was shipped via USPS from upstate New York and took more than a week to get across the state line. It has sat in Birmingham now for 3 days. They have sucked no matter where you live.
