Thoughts on age of consent

Frowned upon here, but around the world its usually 16. At my age now I find that weird, but not for a 20 something. Here you'd lose everything, there no big deal. I'd also be furious if someone my age was trying to get with my daughter at that age.

I find it weird the age of consent is 17/18
But in Massachusetts a girl who is 12 can get married with her parents permission (and plenty of other states with ages under the age of consent)
