It looks like they hit a home run with AA viewers. A super hero movie about the only black super hero should be a big hit with the AA audience. I think itd be cool as hell if I was an AA kid or teenager to finally have a good movie about a black super hero.

Post this on the movie board and watch the SJW horde react.

So a movie about a super intelligent culture idolized by people that shite all over anyone in their real life community that tries to get a decent education.

Guess its easier just to play make beleive.

I like how you edited the links lol.

It looks like people of all races were touched by the movie. I'm guessing because it's a depiction of something they believed happened.

The Blade trilogy was pretty damn entertaining last I checked.

I figured it would be easier than folks reading through the article to get to the point.

And I'm sure it did. I'm just responding to the post saying it's sad that a fictional movie could elicit such a strong response from people. It's almost like people that have strongly held beliefs about a subject are going to watch a movie that reinforces their beliefs and rally around it.

Plus this movie had a 100% RT score and people acted like it was one of the best movies ever made because they were scared to say anything bad about it.

Right.

I haven't seen it, but several friends with good taste said it was pretty good, but not some life changing 100% RT score worthy good.

Blade - Not comic book

Luke Cage - never heard of him until just now

Storm - One of the XMen so there's a good one

Spawn - I like Spawn but he doesn't exactly seem like an altruistic super hero example.

I get your point but I think its a good thing for a young AA kid to see a black superhero as a force for good and someone they can "relate" to.

Blade was based on a marvel character.

Well that’s your fault. There’s a Netflix show about him now too.

Black Panther and The Passion of the Christ should definitely elicit similar emotional responses.

Exactly. No harm, no foul. People get all worked up about how everyone is so easily offended these days, but go looking for things to get offended by.

Had no idea. Thanks for shedding light.
