It’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Climate is always changing. I remember as a kid, Al Gore on tv saying the world was going to end in six years during the 90s.

Stupid fricking Democrats. Ruining everything.

I googled it and it said the average American family uses 300 gallons of water a day. It also varied saying the average person uses between 60 to 100 gallons a day at home. That adds up to a lot of water. With a growing U.S. population that puts more of a strain on our freshwater supplies. I’m not saying I want them to change our washing machines, just stating what I read.

wait, they want washers to use even less water than they do now? Jesus. I've seen trans-poons wetter than my clothes get in my HE washer

I’m glad the Biden administration is focusing on the important things while our country is on the verge of a circa 1929 level banking collapse.

How in the frick does this help the climate at all? If anything it will cause the machine to run longer and use more energy.

The amount of water on earth hasn't changed in billions of years. The problem is transportation and getting it to drought prone areas. Are you under the impression that when you run the water in your sink that it "vanishes" once it goes down the drain?

Wait, so what do they think happens to the water once it passes through the washing machine? That it ceases to exist on earth?
The amount of water on earth is finite, it just changes forms (water vapor, liquid, ice), travels from place to place and through things (including humans)...it's not like more water is being created or water is being destroyed.
You beat me by a bit.

Appliance repair guys make money by repairing appliances. Doesn't do them any good when things are made so shitty its better to just buy new than expensive parts to repair something that is at the end of its life.

I just can’t imagine being this ignorant.
And I’m pretty fricking ignorant sometimes

So now you’re going to have to wash your clothes twice and use more water. Idiots.
Not to mention the amount electricity for two cycles.
I realize water is a precious resource for some places, but to place this nationwide burdensome regulation on places like Louisiana just shows the incompetence and ignorance of our federal government.

This is a problem in a limited number of places. If you’re living somewhere that it is, you can get the shitty appliances. As for me, 4.5 million gallons per second are passing by a few blocks from my house on the way to the Gulf of Mexico every second of every day. Leave mine alone. We’re fine.
Exactly. There’s no shortage of fresh water where I live. Yet another attempt to control every aspect of the modern life.

I remember when Harrah’s in New Orleans had waterless urinals in the bathrooms.

I have seriously had it with this demented old bastard and this administrations climate nonsense! Meanwhile my retirement is tanking and the cost of everything is skyrocketing. They’re spending money like it’s Monopoly money trying to crash the economy so they can implement their digicoin and EV’s so they can control everything. FJB, his whole administration and everyone that voted for him!!
