The President can start a very long convoluted process, but it requires studies by the FDA and DEA. Any guesses on how those studies are likely to lean?

What possibly could have happened to cause that?

And we expect our leaders to handle a few things at a time. Since Chuck has 0 power to move legislation, he can have 20 top priorities for all I care.

Libertarians are the only true “conservatives” left. As you said, the last 6 months should make that clear to everyone with this shitshow COVID-19 response.

While I’m not opposed to decriminalizing weed, doesn’t just about every city do this now? I thought most urban areas allowed you to possess weed. Don’t they usually look the other way if your just holding for personal use and you don’t have enough on you to sell and/or you aren’t some criminal with a rap sheet?

It's weird how most people on either side of the political spectrum all agree on this issue, but most politicians are dead set against it.

Took a couple hits off a joint for pain relief. Haven't smoked any in over 40 years. My take? That shite was 100x stronger then weed back in my day. To me, if one just gets a lite buzz, you have a big problem. shite was like me drinking a bottle of JB. There would be no way I could of drive.

What an ignorant statement. If you don't drink for 40 years and take a shot, guess what? It will likely give you a damn good buzz.

It’s hard to believe how many conservative people I know are huge pot smokers and all of their candidates that they vote for are big anti pot politicians. It’s kinda weird.

So you agree with Biden on every single issue? That's really weird.

Shouldn't be anymore than 6 months or so, assuming we can legalize something that has been around FOREVER vs a brand spanking new COVID 19 vaccine.

If by look the other way you mean take your shit, then yeah. And you can still be charged for a non-criminal violation and subject to a fine.

Agreed. I’d favor it for pain alleviation alone. Granny should be eating an edible instead of taking a Vicodin, imho. The added positive psychological/calming/recreational effect is a bonus.

this irony in this post is strong.

you were drunk (high on alcohol which kills thousands of people in the US every year) and are now complaining about a drug that has literally never killed a single person as being unhealthy, bc you ate too much that one time and had a bad time
