Spent this weekend at my Aunts in Clearwater.

She and my Uncle are both battling cancer(she should be good, he is stage 4 and will die before the year is out most likely).

Her attitude? frick it. If I die I die. More people need her attitude.

They want other people to stay home and wear masks. They don't necessarily want to stay home and wear masks themselves.

Polls are the reason Hillary lost in 2016. CNN, ABC, etc kept showing these fake polls with her leading 65-35.
It backfired on them, causing more Republicans to go out and vote, and less Democrats to go out and vote, because they thought she was a shoe-in.

Plus, where are these polls taken (if they are real)? They are taken in major cities, so it will be slanted towards the democratic side.
I’m 52 years old and have never been polled in my life.

When I had a land line I was getting polled fairly often. About half political, half marketing surveys.

I’m in Olympia Washington today- sitting outside eating lunch at an “oyster house”... it’s a beautiful day- sunshine and 68 degrees or so. Should be packed, but no ones here. About 50% of people are wearing masks even walking down the street or along the water. They still scared out here....

No one wears a mask when they’re walking around here, maybe some people but not a lot, but indoors in a store? Absolutely. The majority of stores have been very good about enforcing the mask policy and Walmart and Fred Meyer Customers both have been surprisingly compliant.

It’s not packed because The Oyster House is a shitty tourist trap. The previous owner drove its reputation into the dirt and the public hasn’t forgotten it. Chelsea Farms, Well 80 or Oly Taproom are better options.

A very wise man once said:
quote:

The truth is that the common man's love of liberty, like his love of sense, justice and truth, is almost wholly imaginary. He longs for the warm, reassuring smell of the herd, and is willing to take the herdsman with it.

Liberty is not a thing for such as he. He cannot enjoy it rationally himself, and he can think of it in others only as something to be taken away. The average man doesn't want to be free. He simply wants to be safe.

Most people are ruled by their emotion. Women tend to be ruled by fear. With men, it's usually anger.

women are human beings, not human doings... of course your thought processes will be skewed when you get whatever you want free because you have a pussy. Women don’t have to know how much a drink costs, or a meal, or rent, as long as they bat their eyes.

I still see plenty of people with masks, but Olympia is also ground zero for retards (NWarty excluded ). It's not too bad up here in Tacoma but it's also a big military town so it's a little different than most of western wa. The biggest PITA is the school closures.

CNN stopped wasting their money on actual polls years ago. Now they just make up polls and report them.
