If those people could toughen up they would still be alive, frick this condescending bullshite. We all know the survival rate from this virus but we continue to act like the world is ending.

Well, that was a bit rude.
Well WTH. Every vaccine has potential side effects. If you’re scared, don’t get it. Otherwise STFU and roll up your sleeve. Or don’t. But this pussified, whinning about the side effects of a vaccine is the epitome of being a bleeding count. I’d rather those types die and be removed from the gene pool then perpetuate their whinny, faggy ways to future generations.

Only fragments of the virus’s genetic code are in the vaccine, so it lacks the molecular blueprint an otherwise whole viral genome would use to self-replicate.
The RNA fragment only codes for a part of the virus, usually a distinguishing surface feature that programs our immune system to identify said feature as foreign.
It’d be like programming the immune system to look for Andy Dalton by only showing it a picture of red hair

I will get the vaccine myself. But only because I’m high risk.

The mild flu like symptoms are similar to the influenza vaccine numb nuts. No one mentioned the mechanism of action in this thread.
We are talking about possible side effects. Will you feel like shite the day afterwards? Yes. Do you feel like shite after a flu vaccine? I never have, but some do complain about feeling a little under the weather. I would imagine if they are warning people about feeling ill than it will be worse than the flu vaccine. I mean, I don’t know anyone who had to take off work because of a flu vaccine.
What don’t we know? Probably a lot since this is the first EVER mRNA vaccine given to humans. People should know that so they understand the risk. If I was elderly or had an underlying condition that puts me at high risk I would take the vaccine because if I got the COVID I would not like my odds; however, it seems like a greater risk to take a new type of drug for something with a very low risk, which is what COVID is for a young healthy individual.

To make you immune to a virus, we’re going to get you sick with that virus.
You should probably do more research and less listening to your Facebook friends’ understanding of immunology smh

I did a year and a half of Interferon injections and I don't think either shot will be as bad as that first injection weekend on Interferon..

Because you'd rather symptoms for 1 day than a week and you won't have to quarantine.
Plus you can’t spread it to others

so, if it's not the actual virus, why would the vaccine cause viral-like symptoms?
Not to get granular the body has a similar reaction to the vaccine as it does with the virus. Keep in mind in a very general sense most of the symptoms you have with many viruses are produced by your body in an effort to fight off the virus. It has already been explained this is an mRNA vaccine (or at least the two initial ones) so it doesn't contain the virus itself in total.

I just got my 2nd shingles vaccine. I have been feeling sick for 4 days. Maybe the Corona vaccine will be the same.

I think I'll let all the hyperventilating Masked Covidians take the vaccine first and sit back and watch the side effects.
Thankfully the sheep will follow their media overlords and fight to the death to be the first ones to take the vaccine.

People have needed to toughen up since about may.

It's not the actual virus. I believe all the vaccine does is makes the body react as if the virus is present, thus forcing the body to build the necessary antibodies and proteins to stave off the actual virus should you come into contact with it.
How dare you come in here with facts.

In the U.S., the virus is killing Black Americans at a much higher rate and 42 per cent of the nation’s 13,000 deaths so far are Black people, according to an analysis by the Associated Press.
Systemic racism and lack of access to health care have made Black Americans more vulnerable to the virus, according to the AP.
