For what? A monster truck? Pretty terrible post without including the make. If that's for an Accord that's a lot, if its for a tractor or monster truck that's nothing.

I paid $650 for a set of 4 AT tires for my sons F150. They off brand but they look nice.

Yeah, even shopping deals extensively I was out $900 for a set earlier this year. I did get a $150 mail in rebate, so just $750.

Unless you bought some sort of specialty tires, there’s no reason to spend $300 per tire.

The tire prices aren’t the problem it’s what Joe the tire man chargers to install the tires. Don’t forget about the sensor that he will inevitably break and charge you another small mortgage to replaces. Dude your a tire guy not a Goldman Sachs bond trader!

Same here. The tires for my truck couple weeks ago came out to 900. but after balance, alignment, install fees, taxes, disposal fees, etc, it was about 1200.

I bought a new car battery yesterday and it was 170 bucks. And that was a low end battery. I remember when they used to be well under 100.

I take it back. Those will be much more expensive than your average tire.

Yep I'm always surprised at the cost of a battery. In my head they should be like $60-70 still.
