At the risk of repeating a prior thread: The woman credited with actually starting the “gender reveal” party craze in 2008, just announced that her twelve year-old child, the one for whom she invented “gender reveal,” has recently come out as non-binary.

What I don't get is that there are two fricking options. Its either going to be a boy or girl. Are people going to be upset if it goes a certain way?
I have never been more excited for someone because they were having a girl over a boy or vice versa. They have a kid, as long as its a healthy kid that's all that matters. I will never understand this whole gender reveal celebration thing.
