Somebody always has it worse. There are kids whose mothers prostitute themselves while the kids are home.
I knew a kid whose mom loudly fricked a disgusting, fat school admin just to get him assigned to a better classroom. He heard the whole thing from his front yard and even messed with the sweaty SOB on his way out.
But there’s a silver lining. The kid grew up to be an All-American football player. He received a Medal of Honor for his heroics in Vietnam and started a very successful shrimp company with his war buddy, Lieutenant Dan.

Whether people want to acknowledge it or not, I think it’s a problem in today’s world.
Our brains weren’t meant to process that much easily accessible material. It’s insane to think what we’ve been exposed to compared to generations before us.

I think the absence of struggle to access illicit content is an under-discussed aspect of this. There was something meritorious and honest about waiting around for your parents to go to bed then sneaking off to watch scrambled cinemax.
Somehow it felt more exhilarating while simultaneously making you feel guilty, both of which are healthier emotional responses to what I think happens now.

Whether this case is real or not, the scenario is completely feasible. How could a young person ever view their mother the same way knowing that she’s doing this?

The desire to intervene in The Lives Of Others and shame and humiliate them is much stronger with a certain type of hypocritical moral nanny, than the actual danger of the pornography. If your argument is that pornography prompts horrible people to do horrible things to destroy the lives of other people, I would agree. And these same people would do it for any other reason as well.

We are where we are. You aren't going to put that genie into the bottle again. I wouldn't advise anyone to participate in porn mainly due to the humiliation down the line. But I won't go as far to say it's the downfall of society. I think the downfall of society gives us the porn. It also gives us all the SJW idiots with rainbow hair.
