It only took him 7 days to create this beast? Pretty impressive for poultry, especially in the early 2000’s. Poultry didn’t have very much rights back then.

Joined this site in 2002 after attending our loss to Va Tech at Lane Stadium. Needed a place to vent after that frustrating game.

eta: MY BAD!

You are right, that was a frustrating game. At least we LSU fans drank Blacksburg, VA DRY the Friday night before the game.

Yeah the site did a reset in 2003 when they revamped everything I believe so the earliest you’ll see I think is Aug or Sep 2003 next to someone.

One website that I use to visit was: GeauxTigers

They had a picture of the LSU fans rushing the field when we beat Tenn in 2001. I was in the back ground of one of those pictures and the web site ended before I could get a copy of it.

I think this whole thing started in 2001. Tigerroar was the main LSU board, then Dandy Don then this. There's a pretty good chance if you see someone with a 2003 sign up date they've been around since before the purge. Chicken had to purge all of the usernames and you had to re-register when he changed the design and layout of the site. Tigerroar was run by a bunch of Nazis while this site has pretty much always been anything goes. Those guys used to get their panties in a wad over pretty much every little thing.

Yep, various iterations trek back to Sept 2001. The 2003 restart was fortuitous. It coincided with LSU's national title season. So traffic and user base grew quickly.

Tigerroar.com was the go to message board for a few years then it became a pay site. They still had one free board still on that site, but it was bad. Most people changed to either TigerForums.com or Tigerdroppings.com. TigerForums.com was actually much better at first then started going downhill or died in early 2004. Tigerdroppings won out.

I was on Tiger Roar in 1999.

The screen would load one line at a time.

I remember her...she was the only person who I ever remember with the guts/balls/bravery/stupidity to use her actual photo as her avatar. Made her a bit easy to recognize at those early TD Keg tailgates on the parade grounds.

Every few weeks I drop in there and try reading a thread or two and I can’t make it beyond 3 minutes. Every negative stereotype about the south, most notably ignorance and sub-par intelligence, is on full display on that board.

You are what's wrong with this board. You try way too hard to bring attention to yourself with your immature antics, but they aren't funny. At least the clowns back in the day were pretty comical about it. You just come off like an immature, attention seeking, child.
