If I had the money and garage for 4 cars it might be my 4th pick. They are supernice on the inside and the expensive one looks pretty good.

How is this different than the dummies that find a way to run out of gas every day?

They're not dumb. They are pretty cool and fun to drive. But, the idea that driving an electric vehicle somehow makes you a crusader for environmental justice is dumb.

Agreed, but that's mostly just an "old man yells at cloud" thing as I've never met someone who said they bought their EV for that reason.

I'm sure you may see it more in California, but EVs have enough popularity to the point now where the vast majority of people buying them are doing so to either save a few bucks or because it's a Tesla and they just thin it's cool. Saving the environment matters zero for the vast majority.

Is this where we pretend we've never seen a gas station closed or not able to get gas there temporarily?

There's 1 charging station in Lake Charles with 5 chargers. How many gas stations do you think are here?

Might be time to invest in a flatbed trailer.

Or a mobile charging operation to retire early on.

10 second Google Maps search, I found 3 Tesla specific destination chargers in Lake Charles. That doesn't count any non Tesla destination chargers.

Just wait until they start prepping for a hurricane and looking to fill up their gas cans with electricity.

No

There's one in all of LC, none in Sulphur, Westlake, etc

There is apparently one in Iowa but I have never been to it to confirm

Probably so but probably easier to pack a gas can to a car that's run out of gas than it is to pack power to a car that's run out of electricity.

And it only takes a couple of minutes to fill a gas can and put it in your car, run to a station and fill it, not 12 hours.

I would simply not run out of electricity, similar to how I've opted to not run out of gas the past few years
