And it simply underscores how incredibly ignorant the average American citizen is with the Constitution, The Federal Government, and State Governments, how this country operates, and what a state actually is and is not.

They are freaking out and it simply makes them look really really silly.

This IS and always has been a 10th amendment issue. It has NEVER had any place at the national level. WHY? Because it’s not a Constitutional Right to have an abortion, because it ISN’T IN THE CONSTITUTION. I don’t know how much clearer this has to be said before it finally sinks in, but I think it’s going to take them a lot of time before it penetrates.

The US Supreme Court are unelected judges who judge constitutional issues. They are NOT a legislative body of elected officials. That’s Congress.

This is a state issue, and it’s always been one. If people want to make it an actual “right” then amend the US Constitution to include it as such, but don’t throw a childish ignorant temper tantrum because the US Supreme Court finally kicked the issue back to the states where it always belonged.

I blame this on the pathetic public education that’s been failing us for generations now.

Its crazy how much they are saying abortion is a right on tv and the news.

Do people even know what their 'rights' actually are?

Agreed.

I mean maybe I just so happened to go to a good public school for high school, but it was very clear after my Civics class that many of these questions coming up now are due to a complete lack of understanding of our Constitution and how are government works (is supposed to at least).

No.

And it’s why we’re where we’re at today. The average American is dumber than a telephone pole.

They think this will motivate people enough to prevent a red wave in November. It won’t.

No. Most people couldn’t tell you who we fought the revolutionary war against.

adds nothing to this discussion, you dope.

Explain?

What does this decision have to do with religion? It doesn't. It was correcting two faulty decisions made by the Supreme Court in two opinions that had no foundation in the Constitution

I just find it hilarious that the “party of science” apparently can’t figure out how to have sex without making a baby. And they don’t believe in the constitution so that’s irrelevant to them.

The Roe decision was explicitly contrary to decades of Supreme Court precedent, all the way back to the decision in Mugler vs. Kansas in 1887.

but the reality is that abortion is now banned in many areas. So saying that everyone protesting doesn’t understand the constitution is silly. Especially when many are aging things like welp I’m moving to California now

cool, people don't like the trigger laws, that means vote in the next election for people that support the repeal of those laws.

Do the people not think they have power? They hold all the power, they just need to utilize it.

Sure it will be a battle, but if you truly think it's something that should be fought for, then good, battle it. Just don't complain when not enough people believe what you do.

It's a state issue. I'm sorry you can't understand that. Once a constitutional amendment is passed guaranteeing the right to abortion, much like the 19th guaranteeing the right for women to vote, then it is a national issue.

But you don't care about legality. None of you ever do.

it's pathetic, but unfortunately not surprising.

the average citizen is extremely ignorant to a lot of the basic facts of this ruling. the media knows this, so they use smoke and mirrors and hand-picked key words in order to indoctrinate people into believing what they're saying is true. then celebrities latch on to it, liberal women latch on to it, and they go crazy spewing the false propaganda.

it also doesn't help that the entire bedrock of liberal females mindset is "I'm a nasty woman", "I can't be told anything", "I don't need no man", etc., etc. ... half of these women don't even believe what they claim to believe because in reality they don't properly understand (or ignorantly refuse) to accept the facts. it's all emotion, what's trendy, and collective group think.... nothing more.
