re: the dating apps aren't cutting it for me in terms of meeting women

Dating apps were great in 2016 to 2017. They have not been great for quite some time. Much like everything else on the Internet and that time span, all dating apps have become enshittified.
Basically, two companies bought up all of the dating sites and dating apps and turned it into a duopoly. Both of those companies operate exactly the same way, basically making sure that no one makes any meaningful connections on those apps. As a result, in the last year and a half, women have massively abandoned those apps, so you’re only matching with scammers and profiles of people who aren’t act anymore.

hinge got me because when i had the free addition, i was getting many likes and couldn't see them, so i was very excited. turns out the accounts once i could see them were fake, or at least i think they were. no one responded. and i am talking about like 20 something likes

Jesus Christ dude get off the internet and get out and do some shite. Stop ‘trying’ to meet someone and just let it happen naturally

FTR, single American women have completely changed in the last 10-15 years. Social media, anti depressants, proliferation of personality disorders, Covid neurosis, Me Too, Trump Derangement Syndrome etc. Any man that uses dating sites has to wade through all that . And women will hide it to lock you down and then bludgeon you with it later. So looking at them as “ DTF “ is probably a good approach. You will have a much better chance to meet quality well- adjusted women with similar values in the wild, through shared interest and the spark of connection. Like our fathers and grandfathers before us- by going out in the world like men with confidence and charm. It’s like sending out anonymous résumé’s trying to secure a plum job. Sure you can find success and nice women but it’s not the BEST approach because of the amount of train wrecks.
This is the most accurate post I've ever read regarding current dating apps.

Your wife definitely cheated on you.

I would've understood. She was dead in the bed the last handful of years. Great mom, good person. Zero intimacy.

Ive used Tinder and Bumble over the past year and met a lot of great women.
You definitely hear from all attractive women that they get hundreds of notes/likes every day and never see the majority of them and many just us the free version where they scroll and match if they like a profile but don't even receive massages.
That said, it's certainly possible to meet women on these apps but I think it depends a ton on location as well.
I live in Brooklyn but also have a house in Pensacola Florida. If I kept similar filters (expanding the 3 mile radius I use for Brooklyn to 40 miles) I get 1000s of results for Brooklyn but less than 10 for Pensacola on both Tinder and Bumble.

It makes sense. The liberal women want control so they choose cucky dudes to exploit.

God bless. So thankful I met my wife before the rise of these apps. Hate you're going through this. It makes me fear the future for my boys.

Any woman on BC needs to have their hormone levels checked around 35.
It can mess with their chemistry especially as they approach perimenopause and when you throw kids in the mix it’s not uncommon to see the libido disappear.
Think it’s similar to the low T issues for sedentary guys, especially if they’re consuming too much soy. You end up with low libido and man boobs.
No idea why both issues aren’t talked about more.

I can only assume you have never been married if you are running around looking for a woman.
I know if something were to happen with my wife there will not be a second wife. Just me, beer, and my bass boat. fishing 24/7

I probably wouldn't get married again if something happened to mine either. Not that I'm unhappy being married, but I wouldn't be willing to start all over after 21 years and closing in on 50.

FFS. Go anywhere and talk to women. Most of them won’t frick you, but some of them will. This is the way.
