They weren’t wrong about controlled-access freeways becoming the norm for travel across cities.

We just outgrew the freeways.

ETA: The part about elevating buildings seems a bit far-fetched.

It is kind of funny to me how that concrete jungle is being viewed as an improvement in that snippet, while today it’s viewed as a blight (albeit a necessary one).

The interesting thing about this is that these city concepts is that they were sponsored by the oil companies and the car companies
